Built between 1825 and 1832, Sharon Temple represents the ideals of its builders, the Children of Peace. These early Canadian settlers created a forward-thinking community devoted to the concepts of equality and peace and, as marked on the inner pillars of the Temple, the virtues of faith, charity, hope and love.

Highlights of our facilities:

	•	Comfortable seating for up to 150 guests in the historic Sharon Temple
	•	4.5 acres of natural and gardened parkland perfect for both outdoor ceremonies and photos
	•	Adjacent to the Temple is the recently renovated Temperance Hall – a heritage building built in 1858

We have a number of rental packages available. If you do not see what you need, please contact us; we will work with you to make your event a memorable one.

Please note that the Temple itself is only available from mid-May to mid-October or each year. The Temperance Hall is available for rent year round.

Temple Package $1100
Temple ceremony, grounds for photographs & reception for up to 80 guests

	•	Exclusive use of the Temple for your ceremony
	•	One pre-event preparation period or rehearsal
	•	Cushioned chairs set up to your specification
	•	Use of the grounds for photographs
	•	On-site washroom and parking facilities
	•	Exclusive use of the Sharon Temperance Hall for your reception including banquet tables and chairs and you can set up the night before.

Temple Ceremony $900
Ceremony & grounds for photographs for weddings of up to 150 guests

	•	Exclusive use of the Temple for your ceremony
	•	One pre-event preparation period or rehearsal
	•	Cushioned chairs set up to your specification
	•	Use of the grounds for photographs
	•	On-site washroom and parking facilities

Grounds Rental for Photographs $100 (or $200 if outside regular museum hours)
Our park-like grounds are available for your wedding photographs

	•	Use of our 4.5 acre grounds for your photographs
	•	On-site washrooms and parking facilities

Temperance Hall ($150 or $400 for evening events)
The historic Temperance Hall is available with the packages above or by itself.

	•	Seats 96 people
	•	Banquet facilities include large kitchen, renovated washrooms, tables and chairs
	•	Available year-round
	•	On-site parking facilities

Rental cost increases to $400 for events after 5:00 pm until 2:00 a.m. An additional premium of $100 is required if the kitchen facility is to be used for food preparation. A $200 refundable damage deposit is also required.
